The 07 really makes the 09 look a little dumpy.

painted my fake silver frame pieces
used night shades smoke color has a black purple sort of color
I think it looks good I may do a satin clear coat over it just to dull it a bit

The first thing I looked at on both bike was the front forks, and brakes. The 07 much like the fz6r does not have a lot of room for upgrades in suspension department. It took me a long time to convince my buddy to sell his fz6r, and get an 09. Just my take.

They are both great looking bikes! And both have tons of usable power all throughout the rpm gauge, though the 09 should come with a casket as an option. what a rocket!

I wasn't aware parallel twins are preferred by stunters. Me, I would not take a brand new bike and turn it into a stunt bike. Although I have seen the videos of the guys doing it with the 09.

That was relative and subject to my tastes. I suppose that's why you have one and I don't. Nothing negative, I just think it looks that much better.

All good! Like I said before, I do like the looks of the 07. But the motor in the 09 is on a different level.

Every dealer that i talk to says that they prefer the 09 over the 07. I personally hate the 07. I don't even like the look of it. My girlfriend sat on it she don't even like it. Has anyone driven it? How does it sound and compare?
