Angry Dealer Scratched Rear Wheel

Well I thought I would do the right thing by supporting my local dealer(HYM).
Unfortunately, this turned out to not be a good idea.
I bought a new Michelin PR4 from them, and had them install it so I wouldn't have to hassle with it. When I got my Bike back to my house I noticed a gouge in the Wheel, and they did not even clean the Tire of the soap that they use.
They wanted to fix the wheel, but after that, I did not trust them with my motorcycle. Also, the paint would of never matched. He stated that this happens frequently with the machine they use. I then told him there's a problem with the machine, and it should not happen at all and they need to get a new one.

Now I will be getting bike stands so I can do it myself.
Quick question: I noticed a mounting location or possible stand mount on the motor next to the oil filter. Could this be used to support the motorcycle to take the triple-tree off?

That is just so wrong. If they knew of this, you should have been warned and given the choice knowing full well that the wheel would be scratched.

why do you need to take the triple tree off for the rear wheel?

By itself the bike would tip to one side. There is a corresponding lug the is used by the radiator overflow tank on the other side of the engine. If you used both you can support the bike.

I will leave this thread to be about the scratch, so I made a new thread to talk about a new type of Front Stand here: https://www.fz-09forums.com/forum/yam...tml#post112665
